Growing up in Croatia he spent many holidays with his family along the Adriatic coast and this was his first introduction to the sea and where his fascination for it began. Alongside his day job, Karlo cultivated hobbies including diving, photography and sailing, and with these hobbies he was able to explore and learn about the underwater world and all it had to offer from a unique perspective. He started his underwater photography exploration with a GoPro.
